Article 83 of the Chicago Convention and Assembly Resolution 38-40 refers to the obligation of States to register with the Council of ICAO any cooperative agreement and arrangement relating to international civil aviation.
This online database replaces the “Database of the World’s Air Services Agreement” in CD-ROM format published as ICAO Doc. 9511. The on-line database contains the actual text of bilateral agreements and amendments in PDF format. It also includes codified summaries of the main provisions of bilateral air services agreements filed with ICAO, as well as non-registered agreements obtained from other sources such as official national websites. A built-in search engine allows users to select a list of agreements for particular Sates which contain or omit similar provisions and review the corresponding text in the agreements.
