With support of the ICAO Runway Safety Programme partners (https://www.icao.int/safety/runwaysafety/) and to bring aviation community abreast of different technological solutions that exist to support runway safety improvements a "Runway Safety Seminar: Technological View" was held in the ICAO European and North Atlantic Office in Paris, France on 22-24 March 2022.
The ICAO Global and Regional Runway Safety Programme partners namely EASA, FAA, EUROCONTROL, EUROCAE, IATA, ICCAIA, ACI and CANSO have supported this seminar. The jointly prepared agenda covered items of interest to regulators, air operators, aerodrome operators, air navigation service providers and other aviation stakeholders.
This important international event was attended by over 80 participants in person and more than 30 remotely from 26 states, 6 international and regional organizations and industry.
