In addition to the traditional air service negotiation meetings between States, ICAO is pleased to offer to members of the aviation business community (e.g. airlines, airports, tourism, manufacturers, etc.) the opportunity to participate. This event will be a great platform for connecting government bodies, civil aviation authorities and industry leaders. The introduction of Showcases and Workshops will also take place simultaneously with the State to State negotiations. Workshops will be hosted by the aviation business community and other interested bodies to provide, through demonstrations and operational presentations, a better understanding of the recent initiatives, trends, and issues in the development of air transport. Presenting a workshop provides a unique opportunity for marketing and showcasing your products and services to a public and private sector audience from around the world including Delegates from among ICAO’s 191 Member States.
ICAO will be celebrating the United Nations World Statistics Day jointly with the Turkish host on 20 October, 2015 with special workshops hosted by ICAO, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the University of Warsaw, Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling (ICM) and others.
