During the ICAO/CAAC Symposium on Low Cost Carriers, ICAO and the Government of China would like to offer government and business community participants the opportunity to meet and exchange views in a private setup alongside the Conference. This is a new service developed by ICAO in recognition of the opportunity afforded by the gathering of leaders in the aviation community. This side event will be open to all Development Forum participants as well as exhibitors.
Note, that meeting requests may only be filed by an authorized coordinator for each State or organization. |
Venue: information will be available shortly.
How does it work?
Step 1: Expression of Interest (EOI)
If you are interested and would like to meet with the Forum participants, please click here to complete the "Expression of Interest" form. This form must be completed and submitted online by 10 October 2014. Subsequently, ICAO will post a list of "Organizations Available to Meet" on this website
(Form 1).
Step 2: Requests for Meetings
At this stage, those who would like to request a meeting with the parties listed in Form 1 will be be asked to complete a Form 2: "Request for Meetings". Details will be required, including: proposed dates and preferred times, organization name, reason to meet, proposed agenda, room and optional services required.
Step 3: Meeting Scheduling
Based on the received requests for meetings and the availability of facilities and participants, ICAO will prepare a Meetings Master Schedule, which ideally will accommodate all the originally received requests. If any rescheduling is needed, ICAO staff will contact to you with an alternative proposal. At the end of this process, you will receive a confirmed schedule of all your meetings by e-mail.
Step 4: Onsite Meeting Coordination
Coordination of meeting services on site will be provided. If you need to cancel or change your confirmed meeting time, please contact the onsite meeting coordinator. Note that last minute meeting time changes may not be possible at short notice.
