Human Factors Workshop

Description:	This interactive Workshop provides participants with an introduction to the principles of human factors in aviation security with key concepts explored such as staff motivation, performance, and security culture. The Workshop will demonstrate how States, industry and other organizations can assess the impact of human factors in the workplace and how they can measure the maturity of their working environments for users, i.e. staff given the growing use of security equipment and new technologies. The Workshop will also focus on the role of human factors in aviation security incidents and discuss the capabilities and limitations of staff.

Target audience:	Subject to availability this interactive Workshop is open to all, including representatives from States responsible for aviation security policy and training, senior and middle managers from industry, and other persons with an interest in human factors and human performance.
