About business, for business, with business
ICAO is a key player in the use of aviation information and analysis for the purpose of monitoring safety and operational efficiency performance. Because aviation is such a rich data environment, ICAO has organized a symposium that brings together all key organizations to address aviation issues related to information and data, applications and infrastructure.
This Symposium will bring together international organizations, government officials, information technology companies, aviation service providers and industry representatives from outside the aviation domain, to learn about potential systems and technologies in an international forum. The theme of this first business class event is to identify future business partnership opportunities for the aviation and information technology industries.
The objective of the symposium is to allow for an interactive exchange regarding the systems and technologies that may benefit aviation in the future. Another objective is to provide a forum for direct collaboration, discussion,
technical demonstrations and information sharing, to address the aviation industry requirements for data collection, management, mining and integrated analysis.
This international symposium will provide a first-hand opportunity to learn about emerging and potential technologies that can improve current capabilities. The event will feature keynote presentations on air navigation, safety and enabling technologies as well as sessions where organizations can present projects, techniques, practical use cases and technologies.
ICAO is currently accepting submissions for presentations on or before 31st of August 2014.
