Digital marketing and social media efforts continue to be expanded to increase awareness of ICAO’s brand and product offerings. In line with that strategy, a marketing automation system for managing marketing email campaigns was launched in April with a focus on improvements to distributions lists, copywriting, and graphical design. Seven event apps were produced and distributed, and the use of event apps was greatly expanded in 2017.

 

The SkyTalks video franchise was expanded to include freely available live broadcasts of ICAO symposiums. These broadcasts were made on YouTube and delivered via the Uniting Aviation web site.
