The ICAO Manual on the Implementation of Article 83
bis of the Convention on International Civil Aviation
(Doc 10059) was published on 21 March 2018. Work has continued on the Article 83 bis Task Force recommendations, as endorsed by the Council at the seventh meeting of its 207th Session, with preparatory work advancing on the establishment of an interactive web-based registration and publication system for
Article 83 bis and other aeronautical agreements and arrangements, including initial work on the design of the system. Related amendments to Annex 6 to the Chicago Convention were approved by the Air Navigation Commission at its 208th Session in June 2018 and transmitted to Member States and appropriate international organizations for comments.
