Aviation Partnerships for Sustainable Development
ICAO successfully advocated for aviation to be included in the main programme of the 2020 World Bank-led Transforming Transportation (TT) Conference. In the main Plenary of the TT Conference, ICAO reflected on Sustainable Growth through Decarbonizing Transport and Mainstreaming Resilience.
In addition, ICAO participated in meetings of the UN Inter-Agency Consultative Group (IACG) on the Follow-up and Implementation of the Vienna Programme of Action for the Land Locked Developing Countries (LLDCs) which discussed development of the UN Roadmap for Accelerated Implementation of the Vienna Programme of Action for LLDCs in the Remaining Five Years.
