An informal virtual meeting of the Air Transport Regulation Panel was held in November 2020 for an interactive discussion on the draft Convention on Foreign Investment in Airlines.
The
compendium of competition policies and practices in force nationally or regionally was developed and is being regularly updated by the Secretariat to cover all 193 Members States of ICAO, and regional organizations such as the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC), Arab Civil Aviation Commission (ACAC), Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN) and European Union (EU). Specific information covering cooperation in the field of competition as well as other competition practices has been added to the database. The
database concerning consumer protection was also updated.
