Within this programme, the Field Personnel Section delivers a spectrum of services, tailored to meet specific needs, ranging from ad-hoc, customized assistance to comprehensive, ongoing HR support.
Drawing from over 80 years of experience as a United Nations entity, ICAO's Field Personnel Section recruits and deploys experts across all aspects of civil aviation, facilitating contract management and entitlements.
Recruitment and selection
Field Personnel Section recruits international experts for implementation of Capacity Development and Implementation projects in diverse Civil Aviation fields of expertise and manages the ICAO Roster of Experts.
The Field Personnel Section seeks applications from individuals with the experience in the specified fields listed bellow with the highest standards of performance and promotes a balanced and diverse workforce. Applications from highly qualified female candidates are strongly encouraged.
ICAO's Capacity Building Implementation boasts a roster of over 4,000 experts who offer advise and support to Member States across a wide spectrum of civil aviation specialities. These experts often work alongside national specialists, sharing their knowledge, delivering on-the-job training, and more.

Have working experience at national and/or international level, in a field relevant to the International Civil Aviation Organization's work. |

Be proficient in at least one of the official languages of the Organization (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish) and have a working knowledge of a second. Additional languages are an asset. |
