ICAO’s Capacity Development and Implementation Programme offers top-tier human resources management solutions to governments.

 

Within this programme, the Field Personnel Section delivers a spectrum of services, tailored to meet specific needs, ranging from ad-hoc, customized assistance to comprehensive, ongoing HR support.

 

Drawing from over 80 years of experience as a United Nations entity, ICAO's Field Personnel Section recruits and deploys experts across all aspects of civil aviation, facilitating contract management and entitlements.

 

Recruitment and selection

Field Personnel Section recruits international experts for implementation of Capacity Development and Implementation projects in diverse Civil Aviation fields of expertise and manages the ICAO Roster of Experts.

 

The Field Personnel Section seeks applications from individuals with the experience in the specified fields listed bellow with the highest standards of performance and promotes a balanced and diverse workforce. Applications from highly qualified female candidates are strongly encouraged.

 

ICAO's Capacity Building Implementation boasts a roster of over 4,000 experts who offer advise and support to Member States across a wide spectrum of civil aviation specialities. These experts often work alongside national specialists, sharing their knowledge, delivering on-the-job training, and more.

What are we looking for?

The people we are looking for should…

 

Demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge.​
​Be motivated and have a strong commitment to the policies and programmes of ICAO.
​Possess good analytical skills and an understanding of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices.
Be able to work well in a multicultural team.​
Have working experience at national and/or international level, in a field relevant to the International Civil Aviation Organization's work.​
​Be proficient in at least one of the official languages of the Organization (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish) and have a working knowledge of a second. Additional languages are an asset.
