The Case Studies on Commercialization, Privatization and Economic Oversight of Airports and Air Navigation Services Providers describe the commercialization/privatization of airports and air navigation service providers (ANSPs) and explain the mechanisms of economic oversight for 26 States or regional organization.

 

The case studies are structured around five components: Background, Airport commercialization/privatization, ANSP commercialization/privatization, Airport regulation, and ANSP regulation. These studies have been prepared by the ICAO Secretariat based on material available (such as websites, reports, studies and the aviation press) and do not constitute an assessment or the expression of view by ICAO.
