*Objectives:*
To review the status of implementation of the various ICAO safety initiatives for Africa, share success stories and challenges, and agree on relevant strategies to further enhance safety in the region. Capacity building - to present the progress report on the establishment and implementation of the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) for Africa and discuss next steps.
Participants:
Directors General of Civil Aviation and aviation safety representatives of AFI Region Member States; and Representatives from partner States, international and regional organizations, and industry.
