At a time where being good global citizens is more important than ever, the impact of UAS operations on those around us needs to be tackled. This webinar will address several different perspectives, to include: what are the outcomes of using UAS/eVTOL at and near airports or in urban environments; how do we best communicate with key stakeholders; how does sustainability and equity support greater efficiency; and benefits of UA for inspection/surveillance operations as compared to other technologies? Additionally, there are many applications being developed in support of aerodrome operations (runway inspections, NAVAID calibration, etc.) that may have a positive benefit on effectiveness, efficiency and safety as compared to conventional aviation.

Ruby Sayyed, IATA
An aviation professional with 19 years of experience. A holder of a B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering who started her career as an Aircraft Engineer with Royal Jordanian Airlines, then progressed from engineering to operational, safety, and management positions within the airline industry. She joined IATA Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Regional office on 01 March 2010, and then joined the IATA ATM Infrastructure Headquarters team in Montreal in 2014. Within her current role, she leads the ATM team within IATA and drives global ATM strategies and policies, including the safe and efficient integration of UAS into airspace. She is designated as the IATA member to the ICAO Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) Panel.

Caryn Moore Lund, Lilium Aviation
Caryn Moore Lund is t. Lilium Aviation, e Head of Government Relations and Public Affairs – Americas for Lilium Aviation, a company built to advance how the world moves with the latest revolution in sustainable, high-speed regional air mobility. In this role, she oversees the Federal, State, local and commercial partnerships that will bring Advanced Air Mobility to the United States. Prior to joining Lilium in 2020, Mrs. Lund served in leadership roles at the US Department of Transportation and on the US House of Representatives Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
Ryan Biziorek, Arup Acoustics
Ryan is an Associate Principal in the Arup Acoustics, Audiovisual, Theatre and Experience Design discipline team and leads the East Geography. He provides consulting expertise across the aviation sector with experience in terminal buildings, environmental noise analysis, public address and audiovisual systems design, and Urban Air Mobility noise policy and simulations. He has lectured for the Community Air Mobility Initiative's Urban Air Policy Collaborative cohort on noise policy considerations and experiential simulation techniques for community outreach and engagement related to future aviation.
He contributes to the operation and development of the Arup SoundLab, a virtual reality room where clients can experience in 3-D an existing or future acoustic environment. The SoundLab is used for a wide array of applications within the aviation market, from optimizing terminal designs to evaluation of environmental noise from existing and future aircraft.

Brendan Groves, Skydio
Brendan Groves is the Vice President of Regulatory and Policy Affairs at Skydio, the largest U.S. drone manufacturer and a world leader in autonomous flight. Brendan works with customers, policy makers, and regulators in the U.S. and international markets to unlock safe and effective autonomous operations.
Before joining Skydio, he held senior positions in the federal government, most recently as Associate Deputy Attorney General in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). In that role, he managed DOJ's national security policy portfolio and also developed, led and scaled DOJ's drone program. In addition, he led the effort to counter the threat posed by malicious drones, spearheading the development and passage of pathbreaking Counter-UAS legislation. Brendan formerly served as Special Counsel to the General Counsel of the National Security Agency. He began his career as an Air Force JAG Officer, where he worked with remotely piloted aircraft and deployed to Afghanistan with joint special operations forces.
Brendan is a graduate of Yale Law School and Pepperdine University. He serves as a Technology, Security, and Global Affairs fellow at the University of Texas at Austin's Strauss Center.
Harrison Wolf, Zipline
Prior to joining Zipline he led aerospace and drone projects with the World Economic Forum focused on advancing progressive regulations that enable a risk-based approach.
Harrison co-founded and continues to teach the Safety Management Systems for Remotely Piloted Aircraft course at the University of Southern California Aviation Safety & Security Program.
Harrison authored the world's first UAS safety text entitled Drones: Safety Risk Management for the Next Evolution of Flight.
