eVisa, Malaysia Digital Arrival Card & Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate

eVisa​

It is the Participants' responsibility to ensure that all respective visa requirements are met in order to be able to attend ICAN2024 in Malaysia.


eVisa is applicable for foreigners who require a visa to enter Malaysia. Delegates from the following countries can apply for a tourist eVisa:

Notes:

 

  • Starting from 1 December 2023 until 31 December 2024, eVisa for Tourist is NOT required for P.R China and India nationals ONLY travelling to Malaysia for tour purposes (Single Entry Visa).
  • eVisa can be applied around the world EXCEPT Malaysia, Israel and North Korea.
  • For countries marked with an asterisk (*), delegates are allowed to enter Malaysia by air only.
  • Israeli citizens who wish to enter Malaysia are required to obtain a visa and approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs of Malaysia.
  • Visa is not required for a stay of less than one (1) month for ASEAN nationals except Myanmar. Visa is required for a duration of stay that exceeds one (1) month, except for Brunei and Singapore nationals.

Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)

Delegates are required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) three (3) days prior to arrival, except:

 

    1. Citizens of Singapore; 
    2. Diplomatic and Official Passport holders; 
    3. Malaysian Permanent Residents and Long Term-Pass holders; 
    4. General Certificate of Identity (GCI) Brunei Darussalam holders; 
    5. Brunei Malaysia Frequent Traveller Facility holders; 
    6. Thailand Border Pass holders; and 
    7. Indonesia Cross-Border Travel Document (PLB) holders.

Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate

A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required from all visitors or delegates (Malaysians and foreigners) coming from or going to/through countries with risk of Yellow Fever transmission[1] (as stated in the International Health Regulations 2005 and Prevention and Control of Infectious Disease Act 1988) as listed below:

Yellow fever vaccination is also required for travellers having transited more than 12 hours through the airport of a country with risk of yellow fever transmission.

 

Travellers or delegates without a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate shall be quarantined upon arrival in Malaysia for a period not exceeding 6 days.
