| Alexander Mahler works as an Advisor at the International PtX Hub Berlin. The International PtX Hub is implemented by GIZ and is funded by the German Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU). Jointly with its partner countries and organi-sations, the PtX Hub aims to catalyse a global breakthrough in the adoption of sustainably produced synthetic Power to X (PtX) fuels and feedstock in sectors that cannot directly use renewable electricity. At the PtX Hub, Alexander mainly works on sustainable fuels for avia-tion and shipping. Before joining the International PtX Hub and GIZ in 2019, Alexander was Deputy Managing Director and Head of Transport and Agriculture Policy at Green Budget Germany (GBG), a non-partisan economic think tank in Berlin. During his time at GBG he focused on economic instruments in environmental policy and advised governmental bodies, NGOs, foundations and political parties in Germany and Europe. He has a background in geography and economics and gained his first professional experiences in 2009 at the UNEP Headquarters in Nairobi.
Ruth Horstmann Barbosa works as an Advisor for Human Capacity Building and Communication at ProQR - Climate Neutral Alternative Fuels, a project by the German Corporation for International Cooperation GmbH (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH), in Brazil. The project aims to implement an international reference model for decentralized sustainable aviation fuel production. The strategy combines piloting a production plant, advising regulatory institutions on framework conditions and cooperate with the academia.
Ruth holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Innovation from Duisburg-Essen University, Germany. Her professional expertise lies in the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and international project management. Before joining ProQR in March 2021, she worked with GIZ Brazil as a researcher and advisor on TVET opportunities for the Renewable Energies and Sustainability Sector in Brazil. |

| Christian Pho Duc is the CTO & MD H2 Projects at Smartenergy Group AG and the Vice Chair of the Renewable Hydrogen Workstream at Solar Power Europe. He graduated as a Physicist from Munich and Cambridge University. Christian has accumulated 25 years working experience in Semiconductors (Siemens, IBM, G&D, Infineon Technologies), Renewable Energies & Hydrogen (Solyndra, Nanosolar, Smartenergy) and Electric Mobility (Torqeedo) in various management positions. With his multi-national background he speaks fluently German, English, French, Italian and some Spanish.

| Dr. Christoph Wolff is the Global Head of Mobility and Member of the Executive Committee at the World Economic Forum since June 2018. He oversees the Forum’s work with Partners from the Automotive, Supply Chain, Aerospace and Aviation, Travel and Tourism sectors. He is leading the Forum’s System Initiative on “Shaping the Future of Mobility” which strives to achieve mobility of goods and people that is safe, clean and inclusive, and includes projects on the transition to “Autonomous, Shared and Electric Mobility,” “Drones and Tomorrow’s Airspace” and “Security in Travel.” Prior to his role at the Forum, Christoph served as Managing Director of the European Climate Foundation, delivering policy solutions for EU and Member State Governments in decarbonizing the energy, transport, cities and energy-intensive industries. Christoph is a Chemical Engineer by training with 17 years’ consulting experience from McKinsey & Co., where he was a Senior Partner and Global Practice Head in Travel and Logistics. He worked with airlines and airports on digitization, operations management, customer experience improvement, retail optimization and the optimization of mobile resources on airport aprons. He was Member of the Board of German Rail, DB Schenker, for four years leading International Railfreight and served Ferrostaal and ABB in executive positions in renewables. |

Keith holds an MSc in Carbon Capture and Storage from the University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Geology from the National University of Ireland. In 2018, Keith assumed the role of Deputy Director of Bellona Europa.
