In order to identify global key priorities ahead of the 42nd Session of the ICAO Assembly (September 2025), a High-level Ministerial Segment will take place on 11 December 2024 as part of the ICAO Security Week 2024 hosted by the Civil Aviation Authority of Oman in Muscat. This will serve as a platform for strategic discussions and the endorsement of a Declaration on security in aviation, encompassing aviation security and aviation cybersecurity, and the protection of aviation critical infrastructure, as well as the launch of the Second Edition of the Global Aviation Security Plan (Doc 10118).
