The below app draws State-level data from the API Data Service and uses it to produce a Chloropleth map. You can change the colors as well as the metric.
If you click on a country, the map will center on that country and zoom in to the level you specified (5 by default). If you click again on that same country, the map will zoom out one level. Click again, it will agian zoom out one more etc. Click anyware in the water and the map will reset.
If you choose another group than the world, you can hide all States except the ones you selected by clicking the Toggle Group States button.
