The First meeting of the ICAO EUR PBN Consolidation Task Force (PBNC TF/1) in conjunction with the Twenty-Eight meeting of the EUROCONTROL Navigation Steering Group (NSG) was held at EUROCONTROL HQ, Brussels on 26 – 28 March 2019. The meeting was attended by 96 participants representing 34 States and 6 International Organizations.
The ICAO EUR PBN Consolidation Task Force (ICAO EUR PBNC TF) was established by EANPG/60 RASGEUR/ 07 (Paris, France, 26-30 November 2018) to replace the EUR PBN Task Force with clear deliverables and timelines, including to assist in the implementation of the amendment 6 to PANS OPS and Circular 353.
The meeting reviewed and updated the draft EUR Regional Transition Plan (developed by the ICAO EUR/NAT Office with the support of EUROCONTROL). The EUR Regional Transition Plan will be presented to the COG/74 RCOG/11 for endorsement and submitted to the ICAO HQ for confirmation of the EUR Regional slot.
Next meeting of the ICAO EUR PBNC TF is scheduled to be held in conjunction with the EUROCONTROL NSG/29 at the ICAO EUR/NAT Office premises in Paris, France from 13 to 15 November 2019.
