The Twenty Second Meeting of the EANPG Aeronautical Fixed Services Group (AFSG) was held from 23 to 27 April 2018 in the ICAO EUR/NAT Office in Paris. The AFSG pursued the tasks and issues related to Aeronautical Fixed Service (AFS) in support to the relevant ICAO Strategic Objectives to enable an efficient air transport network in the EUR Region.

One the main points discussed during the meeting was about the security aspects that should be considered as a key element to allow the Air Traffic Services (ATS) Message Handling Services - AMHS extended activities to grow and to help the transition toward the System Wide Information Management (SWIM) concept.
