The 2022 ICAO Innovation Fair was convened from 24 to 26 September 2022, immediately prior to the 41st Session of the Assembly. Building upon lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, the theme of the 2022 ICAO Innovation Fair is “Innovation for Enhanced Resilience in International Civil Aviation”.
On 25 September 2022, the programme integrated an “Aviation Security and Facilitation Day”. This special day addressed topics such as behavioural
science, open architecture, artificial intelligence, and seamless and
contactless travel, through a series of panels/sessions during which State and industry representatives were invited to exchange on these topics. Sessions are available to watch on ICAO TV.
