During the ICAO High-level Conference on COVID-19 (HLCC 2021) held from 12-22 October 2021, the Facilitation (FAL) Stream discussed various topics, including Facilitation operational measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond, enhancing National Coordination and International Cooperation, and digital data sharing to facilitate seamless and contactless processes. As a result, 79 recommendations were made.
Of the 79 recommendations, 62 were addressed to Member States during the HLCC 2021, which the ICAO Council endorsed during the Eleventh Meeting of its 225th Session. During the 41st Session of the ICAO Assembly held from 27 September to 7 October 2022, these recommendations were also endorsed, and Member States were urged to implement the FAL Stream recommendations.
This Webinar intends to furnish Member States with additional information and support their implementation of the HLCC 2021 FAL Stream recommendations.
