Passport and Visa Requirements
Participants must be in possession of a Passport issued by a competent issuing authority
Which is valid for at least six more months from the date of travel to Sri Lanka.
Travelers to Sri Lanka have the convenience of obtaining visa for travel on-line through
the website maintained by Sri Lanka Immigration and Emigration. The website,
www.eta.gov.lk contains necessary information to guide an applicant to obtain business visa online for short term travel to Sri Lanka by payment of the applicable fee by credit card.
On-line visa is not available for the following countries:
- Afghanistan
- Nigeria
- Pakistan
- Syria
- Ghana
- Cameroon
- Egypt
- Turkey
- Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast)
