Welcome
ICAO will convene the first workshop and exhibition on Air Traffic Flow Management and Collaborative Decision Making (ATFM/CDM), titled as "ATFM Workshop Asia Pacific 2014" from 27 to 30 October 2014 in Beijing, China. The workshop will heighten awareness among aviation service providers, International Organizations and aviation Stakeholders as well as their possible solutions.
The workshop will be two-part. The first 2 days will be educational session on ATFM/CDM, covering the basic contents based on the ICAO Doc 9971, Manual on Collaborative Air Traffic Flow Management. The lecture is targeted at people who are not familiar with the ATFM / CDM concepts. The next 2 days will be information sharing session, and comprise of an exhibition on ATFM/CDM solutions, presentations by industry partners and research institutes, and sharing of case studies by States who have already introduced ATFM/CDM.
Delegates may represent national or international civil aviation, research institutes and industry bodies. Airlines and freight forwarders from around the world are also invited to participate. A concurrent exhibition on ATFM technologies and services will be organized by ICAO to provide delegates with an overview of related challenges and potential solutions.
