Global safety data collected by ICAO and IATA indicates that loss of control in-flight (LOC-I) remains one of the top 5 Global High-Risk Categories of Occurrences. UPRT training is considered to be one of the most effective safety barriers for the prevention of these types of events, aligning with existing global standards and recommended practices.
