| The "Preparing for the Unpredictable: Conflict Zone Risk Management Tabletop Exercise" is a specialized workshop designed to immerse participants in conflict zone risk assessment methods when flying over or near conflict zones. This tabletop exercise is a practical, hands-on approach to understanding and applying the risk management guiding principles included in the next iteration of ICAO's Risk Assessment Manual for Civil Aircraft Operations Over or Near Conflict Zones (Doc 10084). Participants will navigate a fictional scenario that replicates the complexities and challenges faced by civil aviation professionals when assessing airspace risks and mitigation planning for civil aviation operations in or near conflict zones. Guiding principles from the updated Doc 10084 will be introduced and applied.
