ICAO held its fifth Air Services Negotiation Conference (ICAN2012) from 8 to 12 December 2012 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It was hosted by the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Saudi Arabia.
This year ICAN coincided with International Civil Aviation Day (7 December). Click here to view the address by H.H. the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation on this occasion.
Like all previous meetings, it provided States with a central meeting place to conduct multiple bilateral (regional or plurilateral) air services negotiations or consultations and offered participants excellent networking opportunities as well as a forum to exchange experiences and discuss topical issues.
