As ICAO celebrates its 75th Anniversary of the signing of the Convention on International Civil Aviation, we are inspired by past achievements, making air transport a safe, secure and efficient mode of travel. This motivates ICAO to look towards the future with determination to continue to make aviation an enabler for the creation and preservation of friendship and understanding amongst the peoples of the world. In this regard, we are collectively aware of the increasing pace of innovation throughout the aviation industry and the great potential that it holds.

The broad objective of this fair will be to excite and educate our sector on the possibilities that innovation presents, and to provide insights to key decision makers, on how they can start-up innovation within their own States. One of the aspects of modern innovation, is the relatively low development costs making it truly accessible to all States so that from the beginning of No Country is Left Behind; noting significantly, that leaders in innovation include those from developing and emerging aviation markets.
