The Air Transport Symposium preceding the formal negotiation meetings provides a global forum for all interested parties, governments, the industry, concerned organizations and aviation stakeholders to learn about current trends and developments in international air transport, exchange information and experiences, and discuss topical issues of general interest. It also serves as useful platform to promote cooperation and dialogue between regulatory authorities of air transport (including with competition authorities) and the industry, as well as other stakeholders.
