Reem Al Saffar is a seasoned aviation professional currently serving as Senior Manager of the Aerodromes Section at the United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority. In this pivotal role, she oversees the safety oversight and certification of international and domestic airports, heliports, helidecks, and vertiports. Additionally, she manages Rescue & Fire-Fighting services, airport emergency plans, airport development projects, and handles the formulation, and implementation of national aerodrome regulations. Notably, she also spearheaded the publication of the first national regulation on vertiports, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence in the aviation sector. |

Ms. Liza Josias, Global Ecosystem Development – Eve Air Mobility
Liza Josias leads Global Ecosystem Development at Eve Air Mobility where she works closely with fleet operators, governments and industry to prepare the ecosystem for safe, accessible and sustainable urban flights. She was a key author of Eve’s Urban Air Traffic Management (Urban ATM) concept and contributed to numerous Urban Air Mobility Concepts of Operations that were tailored for cities across five continents. Her experience spans research, operations, and future aviation planning in Europe, Australia and the United States. Liza is passionate about democratizing UAM and believes it can positively benefit communities in ways that extend well beyond mobility. |
